Drakefest Week is Here

Only 2 more “Sleeps” till it all gets started Fri Night 7pm

First band of the festival are “KneeSlider” 7pm Inside

Then we head Outside at 8pm for “Blackout”

Then Headlining the Outside Stage 9.30pm

“DROPZONE”

Gates open Sat & Sun at 11am

And the Festival will be opened Officially by the New Mayor of Portsmouth at  12 noon Saturday

Followed by 9 bands Sat & Sun from 1pm  onwards and much much more

Tickets Now Available for 2012 Drakefest

 Due to the ever increasing popularity of Drakefest this year we have decided to fence off the event and have a small charge for admission on Sat and Sun , the admission money collected will go straight to the charities, we are hopping having security will make the festival a safer and more pleasurable experience for all who come along.

Admission Prices

Adult  £3.00 / Day              Children 14 – 17  £3.00 / Day

             £5.00 / Weekend                                        £5.00 / Weekend

Anyone looking under the age of 18 will be asked for proof before purchasing wristbands 14 – 17 will have U18 wristbands to help to stop any underage drinking once on site wristbands will count as proof of age .

Children under 14 will be exempt from admission fees but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Tickets are available in advance from the bar at The Admiral Drake , and wristbands will be available to collect from Tues 26th .

Wristbands will be available on Sat and Sun at the main gate , but to reduce queuing please try and purchase advanced tickets then you can walk straight in.

Things are progressing pretty well on our 4th meeting tonight last week we confirmed the 4 Charities we will be supporting this year they are.

Breast Cancer Care

Brain Tumour Research

Progresive Supernuclear Palsy

We are looking for Volunteers for this year, there will be several sheets up at the drake so get your names down and get involved, Also Catt has offered to give some basic lessons in face painting to those who want to help prior to the Festival please if you can help even for an hour or so it would be greatly appreciated. Thats all for now folks keep your eyes posted for more info coming soon. :0)

Dates now confirmed for this tears Festival – Fri 29th , Sat 30th June and Sun 1st July .

We are having our first meeting this Weds 15th March to thrash out new ideas and get things started, anyone interested in helping out or if you have any ideas please come along 7pm Weds.
